Biographies of British Prisoners of War

Of the British prisoners of war confined in the E715 POW camp in Auschwitz and used for forced labor at I.G. Farben’s construction site, a few testified in postwar trials of Nazi criminals, most notably in the I.G. Farben Trial in Nuremberg. These witnesses included Reginald Austin Hartland, who had become friendly with Norbert Wollheim in Auschwitz and helped him there. Robert William Ferris and Charles Joseph Coward also appeared as witnesses in the Wollheim suit.
