Blechhammer

Blechhammer is the name of a concentration camp that was set up near Cosel (Kozle) in Upper Silesia in April 1942. It served primarily as a forced labor camp for Jews and British POWs. In total, it had about 48,000 inmates. One secondary camp was the "Bahnhofslager“ (train station camp), a subcamp of the Buna/Monowitz concentration camp.
