Reichssicherheitshauptamt
The SS-Reichssicherheitshauptamt (RSHA) was established in 1939 . Its leaders were Reinhard Heydrich (1904–1942) and Ernst Kaltenbrunner (1903–1946). The umbrella of the RSHA embraced both the security police (Gestapo and Criminal Police) and the security service (Sicherheitsdienst, SD). The RSHA planned and organized the murder of Europe's Jews.
