Sauna
A large building in the Birkenau extermination camp, containing, among other things, shower rooms and facilities for disinfection of clothing. After "selection," the newly arrived prisoners were led into the "Sauna." There they had to undress, have their heads shaved, undergo disinfection, receive a tattoo, and be issued prisoner's clothes.
